Monday, October 1

1:20 a.m. A 17-year-old male juvenile, of Hope, AR, was charged with possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), possession of drug paraphernalia, and minor in possession of tobacco in the 600 block of N. Hervey St.

7:50 a.m. Karla Gonzalez, 32, of Hope, AR, was charged with leaving the scene of an accident (property damage) in the 1400 block of Lakeshore Dr.

 

8:45 a.m. Richard A. Rone, 32, of Hope, AR, was arrested by agents with the 8th North Task Force for three counts of delivery of methamphetamine.

 

 

 

 

 

4:15 p.m. Carl Johnson, 56, of Hope, AR, was charged with leaving the scene of an accident (property damage) and driving on a suspended driver’s license at Red River Federal Credit Union in the 1500 block of S. Wal-Mart Dr.

 

Thursday, October 4
4:32 a.m. Gary Mangus, 26, of Fort Polk, AR, was arrested in the 800 block of Nancy St. and charged with public intoxication.

 

10:11 p.m. Officers of the Hope Police Department responded to the 1300 block of South Bonner in reference to a breaking or entering into a motor vehicle. Officers located Kamorien Monk, 20, and a 17-year-old male juvenile, both of Hope, AR. Both were charged after allegedly breaking into a car in the 1300 block of S. Bonner St.

  • Monk was arrested and charged with breaking or entering into a motor vehicle, criminal trespass, possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) and served with a failure to appear and a foreign warrant.
  • The juvenile was arrested and charged with criminal trespass, possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) and breaking or entering into a motor vehicle.

 

4:34 p.m. Shell Rone, 44, of Stamps, AR, was arrested in the 2100 block of N. Hazel St. and charged with obstructing government operations and served with a failure to appear warrant.

Saturday, October 6
1:39 a.m. Nicholas Washington, 36, of Hope, AR, was arrested in the 200 block of N. Pine St. and charged with driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit, no proof of insurance and driving on a suspended driver’s license.

11:00 a.m. Virginia Hudman, 55, of Hope, AR, was arrested at Walmart in the 2400 block of N. Hervey St. and charged with theft of property, possession of a controlled substance (prescription drugs), and served with a foreign warrant.

Sunday, October 7
10:43 p.m. Keshawn Jefferson, 19, of Hope, AR, was arrested in the 600 block of W. 3rd St. and charged with domestic battery in the third degree and terroristic threatening in the second degree.

Thursday, October 4
William Moritz, 44, of Hope, AR, was charged with one count of felony theft and two counts of misdemeanor theft.  Moritz was escorted to the Hempstead County Detention Facility for book in process. The incidents originally occurred on the dates of February 26, April 13 and January 28. All incidents occurred at the 1300 block of S. Main St. (Moritz Law Firm).

 

Friday, October 5
Lyrika Bell, 19, of Stamps, AR, was charged with battery in the third degree. The original incident occurred on September 22, 2018 in the 700 block of E. Greenwood St. (Horizons) at 8:00 a.m.


Saturday, October 6

Nicholas Washington, 36, of Hope, AR, was charged with theft of property. The original incident occurred on October 1, 2018 in the 300 block of N. Louisiana St. at 4:00 p.m.
