At 409 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Saratoga, or near Mineral Springs, moving east at 45 mph. Half inch hail, moderate rainfall and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm. Locations impacted include... Nashville, Prescott, Mineral Springs, Blevins, Tollette, Washington, Ben Lomond, Corinth, Saratoga, McCaskill, Ozan, Bright Star, Boughton and Browntown.
The National Weather Service is calling for increasing intensity in thunderstorms that will continue to spread across the area through the evening.
The NWS advises a cold front moving south across the region bringing thunderstorms with possible damaging winds, large hail, tornados and localized flooding.
The cold front is forecast to move through the area overnight and the threat of severe storms will diminish gradually as it moves away from our area.
