WASHINGTON, AR – While visiting Historic Washington for the 50th Annual Jonquil Festival this Friday, the Washington Volunteer Fire Department invites you to come by their fire station for for their fish fry fundraiser.
The meal includes three pieces of fish with sides of fries, pinto beans and hushpuppies. The fish and fixings will be served from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, March 16. The cost per meal is $10.
All funds go toward purchasing fire safety equipment and supplies which volunteer firefighters will use to fight house fires and wildfires as well as respond to crashes and medical emergencies in the area surrounding Washington.
