SPRING HILL, AR – A Hope High School senior came away uninjured after losing control and rolling his truck Sunday night.

The 17-year-old said he was traveling west on Highway 355 West in his GMC Yukon shortly after 11 p.m. when his tire went off of the edge of the highway. In his attempt to regain control, he said, he over-corrected causing his SUV to spin around, go into the ditch and roll over onto the driver side before coming to a stop facing east.

The teen said he was able to crawl out through the passenger window.

The Hempstead County Sheriff’s Department and Pafford EMS were called to the scene.

The teen was checked out but declined transport. He and his family were able to roll his truck back onto its wheels and drive it home.
