Donald Ray “Jack” Cornelius, 67, of Prescott, AR was healed and went home to be with his Lord, Saturday, June 3, 2017.

Mr. Jack was born August 14, 1949 in Prescott, AR to Ray and Alene Steed Cornelius.

He went to work alongside his Dad at the Nevada County Supply and cattle farming until 1978.  He then went to work at Hudson Foods/Tyson Foods as a field supervisor and then was Live Haul manager until retirement in 2002. Cattle farming, hay bailing, hunting and mostly enjoying his grandchildren.  He retired from the Arkansas Army National Guard and was a member of Missionary Grove Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, cousin Tom Cornelius and numerous friends that went before him.

Survivors are his loving wife of 42 years, Jimmie Huskey Cornelius; one son and daughter in law Jake and Jade Cornelius of Prescott; two daughters: Jesna Cornelius of Prescott, and Christi and son in law Monty Sullivan of Hope; one sister Betty Jo “B.J.” and Donald Hampton of Hope; the jewels, seven grandchildren: Adam, Jack, Aubree, Alye, Koda, Raley, Cally; special family members: John Cornelius of Prescott, Donald Huskey of Texarkana, TX, Brenda Huskey Thornton of Huchison Island, FL, Randall W. Huskey of Clarksville, TN, Jerry and Greg Wilson of Prescott, AR; and a host of friends.

Visitation will be 4:00 – 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Pharr Funeral Home of Prescott, with graveside services to follow at 6:00 p.m. in Nubbin Hill Cemetery with Bro. Neal Ridling and Bro. Jerry Evans officiating under the direction of Pharr Funeral Home of Prescott.
