Our lives are like a book with each chapter filled with memories and time well spent with our loved ones.  May 11, 2017 the last chapter of a beautiful story of a life filled with love, laughter, and happiness for family and friends came to a close.  Mrs. Florene departed this life, moving on to her reward for a journey well done.

Florene was born April 4, 1928 to George and Pinkey Williams, Sr.  She married Mr. L.C. Coulter, and became a member of Hickory Grove C.M.E Church.  She was a faithful worker serving in many ministries.

She was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth and stepson, Gene Lewis.  She leaves to cherish her memories, a brother, Glenn (Poppy) Whitmore; sister, Mrs. Velma (Clavell) Jones of Mineral Springs, AR; three sons, Lonnie J. Coulter of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Terry and Gary Coulter of Mineral Springs, AR; eight daughters, Doris (John) Tolliver of Springfield, Missouri, Elsie Harbour of Toledo, Ohio, Katie (Terry) Malone of Frisco, Texas, Minnie Coulter of Texarkana, Arkansas, Jacklin (Steve) Womack of Little Rock, Arkansas, Angelor (Robert) Wilkes of Springfield, Missouri, Sherally Haskin (Ron Pollard) of Bryan, Texas, Anna (Christopher) Martin of Little Rock, Arkansas.

Mrs. Coulter will lie in state 12:45-2:30pm, funeral services will be 2:30pm Saturday, May 20 at Floyd T. Jeans CME Church, 922 Martin Luther King Drive, Tollette, Arkansas.  Burial will be at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Mineral Springs.  Arrangements entrusted to HicksFuneral Home, Inc.

Mrs. Florene Coulter, 89, of Mineral Springs passed on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at a Nashville hospital.  Arrangements are pending with Hicks Funeral Home, Inc.
