Arrests:
Monday, May 1
9:21 p.m. Ronnie Elmer, 39, and Davis Purifoy, 41, both of Hope, were arrested in the 200 block of N Andres St.

Mr. Elmer was charged with possession with the purpose to deliver (methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance near certain facilities, possession of drug paraphernalia and drinking on the highway.

Mr. Purifoy was charged with driving while intoxicated, possession with the purpose to deliver (methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance near certain facilities, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving on a suspended driver’s license and noise abatement.


Tuesday, May 2

12:20 p.m. A 15-year-old female from Washington was charged with domestic assault in the third degree in the 300 block of E Greenwood St.

9:18 p.m. Ricky Toney, 47, of Hope, was arrested in the 1200 block of Henry C. Yerger St and charged with possession of a controlled substance (cocaine) and failure to obey a stop sign.


Thursday, May 4

7:43 a.m. Loshanta Pugh, 36, of Hope, was arrested in the 1600 block of W 6th St and charged with domestic battery in the third degree.

6:01 p.m. Heather Clark, 26, of Lewisville, was arrested at Walmart in the 2400 block of N Hervey St and charged with theft of property.

6:20 p.m. Two 13-year-old females from Hope were charged with communicating a false alarm at the gymnasium at Hope High School in the 1700 block of S Main St.

9:38 p.m. Antonio Monk, 29, of Hope, was arrested in the 300 block of E Ave B and charged with driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit, no headlights, speeding, racing, reckless driving, passing where marked by signs or yellow lines, fleeing on foot, and fleeing in a vehicle.


Friday, May 5

7:45 p.m. Joyce Daniels, 53, of Hope, was charged with battery in the third degree at Horizons in the 700 block of E Greenwood St.

9:54 a.m. Frederick Norton, 24, of Hope, was arrested in the 1000 block of W 3rd St and charged with possession of a controlled substance (marijuana).

11:51 p.m. Daniel Santamaria, 40, of Hope, was arrested in the 400 block of W Ave D and charged with driving while intoxicated, improper lane change, no driver’s license, and served with a failure to comply warrant.


Saturday, May 6

4:35 p.m. Crystal Garland, 31, of Nashville, and Amber Monk, 32, of Hope, were charged with battery in the third degree in the 1000 block of E Lincoln St.

11:24 p.m. Alfred Reynolds, 51, of Hope, was arrested in the 3000 block of W Ave D and charged with driving while intoxicated, driving on license suspended for DWI, and improper lane change.

11:44 p.m. Tyrell Marshall, 20, of Hope, was arrested at the Exxon T-Mart in the 2100 block of N Hazel St and charged with forgery in the first degree.

Monday, May 1

Karla Gonzales, 30, of Arkadelphia, AR was charged with battery in the third degree. The original incident occurred on April 9, 2017 at Breckinridge Apartments in the 400 block of E 3rd St.

Armonte Williams, 21, of Hope, AR was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery. The original incident occurred on April 15, 2017 at the Exxon Superstation in the 1600 block of N. Hervey St at 1:30 a.m..

Thursday, May 4
Richard Rone, 30, of Hope, AR was arrested and charged with terroristic threatening in the first degree. The original incident occurred on August 25, 2016 in the 1200 block of Hickory St at 3:15 p.m.

Maurice Trammell, 43, of Hope, AR was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. The original incident occurred on March 31, 2017 in the 500 block of Caney Creek Dr at 2:45 a.m.
