UPDATED 4-26-2017 @ 6:29 p.m.: HOPE, AR – The Hope Police Department has released security video images and descriptions of the men involved in the April 25 armed robbery of the Shell Station in the 2600 block of North Hazel St in Hope.
According to the release, at approximately 10:30 p.m. last night, an unknown black male entered the east entrance of the store and walked to the counter. He then pulled a pistol from his pocket and two more black males entered the store. One of the males went behind the counter and asked where the cartons of Newports were kept. The three took the cigarettes and the money and left the store.
The first male to enter the store is described as a medium-toned skin male with a mustache. One of the other males is described as tall with dark-toned skin. The third is described as shorter than the first with very dark-toned skin and a slim build.

HOPE, AR – The Hope Police Department is investigating a reported armed robbery that occurred Tuesday night at a gas station.
A 911 call was made by the clerk at the Shell Station on N. Hazel St. at I-30 around 10:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 25 saying she had just been robbed by three black males, one of which pulled a gun on her. The males had already fled the store.
Officers from the HPD and Deputies from the HCSO responded to the area, secured the scene for the detective to process and began interviewing witnesses.
The suspects reportedly made off with cash and Newport cigarettes, though there is no official report of the business’ losses at this time.
According to one witness, the suspects fled north to a vehicle (possibly a dark colored Hyundai SUV) parked north of the store at the site of a former car wash.
No better description is available at this time but security cameras at the store may have images of the suspects.
