Willie M. Rose was born in McNab, Arkansas on February 26, 1943 to the late Marvin and Lue Cressie Muldrow. She attended school at Douglas Elementary in McNab and Howard County Training in Tollette.  She worked many years in housekeeping services.  Sister Willie Rose united with Gravel Hill Baptist Church at an early age.  She was united in marriage to John Rose.

She departed this life on Sunday, April 23 in Bryant, Arkansas at the age of 74.

She leaves to cherish her memories, a loving daughter, Dorothy Reynolds of Schaumburg, IL;  two grandchildren, Deja (Tony) Greene of Okinawa, Japan and Terence Reynolds of Chicago, IL; two great grandchildren, Josiah Greene and Christiana Greene of Okinawa, Japan; sister, Nancy Hopson of Cincinnati, OH and brother, James Marvin Muldrow of McNab, AR; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Mrs. Rose will lie in state one hour prior to services.  Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, April 27 at Hicks Memorial Chapel , 407 South Hazel Street, Hope, Arkansas.  Burial will be at Church Hill Cemetery in McNab.  Arrangements entrusted to Hicks Funeral Home, Inc.
