Legendary Ronnie Milsap will be performing on stage at Hempstead Hall on Friday, April 28 at 7:30 p.m.
Milsap has had 40 number one singles in his career. With a few top Top Ten hits in 1975, he became a genuine star in 1976 with a string of six number one hits in a row. In turn, that string of hits began a remarkable run where Milsap didn’t leave the Top Ten for 15 straight years. During that time, he had a number of pop crossover hits, “It Was Almost Like a Song”, “Smoky Mountain Rain,” “No Gettin’ Over Me”, “Any Day Now” and “A Woman in Love.”
Milsap’s earlier hits include “Pure Love”, “Please Don’t Tell me How the Story Ends”, “Stand By My Woman Man”, “What a Difference You’ve Made in my Life”, and “It was Almost Like a Song”. One of Country Music’s most successful and beloved crossover artists.
The Concert is a partnership with Arkansas Lions Club and Hempstead Hall.
